The church is a local assembly of baptized believers, under the discipline of the Word of God and the Lordship of Christ, organized to carry out the commission to share Christ, to teach, and to administer the ordinances of believer’s baptism and the Lord’s table. Practically speaking, we would affirm the priesthood of the believers encouraging believers to lead others to Christ and fulfilling the Great commission by baptizing them accordingly. Its offices are elders and pastors, and it is self-governing. It functions through the ministry of gifts given by the Holy Spirit to each believer. We would affirm the giftings accordingly to model after Ephesians 4 (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers).
